I've been MIA for a couple of weeks now. Honestly, the last thing I've wanted to do when I came home from work after being on the computer all day is get back on the computer and blog. BUT. Park, Tug, Baby Boy, and I are all alive and well. Here is a bit of what's been going on with us.
Park made it home safe and sound from Mexico...although we can't say the same for his dirt bike.
Park is still trucking along with his 25 credits at the U. Finals are just a few weeks away and then he's only got 2 classes to take this summer and he will be a COLLEGE GRADUATE!
He had spring break this last week, but spent it driving around Utah looking a different landforms with 9 other students and two of his professors for a field study class that he's taking this semester. He was gone from Saturday to Saturday. I'm glad to finally have him back home. He's been gone way too much this month!
I've started applying for GIS jobs for him...cross your fingers that he gets a great offer here in Utah.
I'm still housing Baby Boy in my ever expanding uterus. He's doing great...punching and kicking the crap out of me every day. My doc says all is well. I start my weekly appointments this week. I'll be 36 weeks on Saturday...4 weeks to go! Let the countdown begin!
I'm still working...and I'll be working until I go into labor. Luckily I work at the hospital where I will be delivering, so all of my co-workers know to just wheel my computer desk chair down the hall to Labor and Delivery if anything happens while I'm at work.
Some ladies I work with, and some I used to work with, came together and threw me a nice shower/luncheon at work last week. Baby Boy got hooked up with some great gifts.
Park and I bought a dresser for Baby Boy and I've been working on getting his room at my mom's new house all organized. I also bought a stroller/car seat combo a couple of weeks ago. Park and I decided this weekend we would break it all of out the box and figure out how to use it...I mean...he could be here any day now and we want to be prepared, right? Well...it was dumb and dumber trying to put this stroller together, and then trying to figure out how to use it. The car seat was a little easier to figure out...after the initial 10 minutes it took trying to figure out how to get it off of the base. I feel much better knowing that we know what we are doing now.
We are currently living in a state of chaos. My mom's new home won't be completely done with renovations until the mid to end of April. Unfortunatley, we have already moved 90% of our things over there. So, we have a mattress, our clothes, bathroom supplies, and kitchen supplies left here at our current residence. I'm getting anxious to live like a normal human being again. My mom's new house is coming along, though, and when it's done, it's going to be awesome. Hopefully Baby Boy doesn't decide to make his arrival before then.
My cousin Andrew and his wife Katie had their baby last week. Olivia Evangelia Nothum. I've only seen a few pictures, but she's a doll and everyone is doing great. We are so happy for them and can't wait to meet Olivia.
We celebrated Park's mom, Cathy's, birthday last week. Cathy is so amazing and we wish her another year of happiness and continued strength to battle her cancer.
Park's sister, Grace, found out last week that she is having a BOY! Baby Boy is going to have 3 cousins his age to play with...Jane, Maxwell, and now Baby Hank (that's what my niece Mary is calling him). We are so excited!
My cousin Marilyn is pregnant! That will make Nelson great grandchild #3! So exciting!
I've got a busy, fun, family filled weekend planned. I finally found my camera, so I promise to take pictures (because blogs are way more fun to read when there are pictures to look at, too) and blog about the events.
