4 Month Check Up

Thursday Baby Park had his 4 month check-up...3 weeks late.  Our pediatrician, Dr. V,  says that Park is growing beautifully and looks healthy and happy.  He weighed in at 16.2 lbs (56%) and measured 27 in long (92%). 

Park had to get shots.  It was so sad...he was so sad...I was so sad.  He was tough though.  He only cried for a few minutes and then passed out.  Since getting his shots Park has been so fussy...fussier than he has ever been.  He has also started to really want his momma.  It's hard to get anything done when Baby Park wants me to hold him all the time, but I do love it.  I'm enjoying this time where all he wants is me because soon enough that will all change. 

Dr. V talked to us about starting to lay Park in his crib when he is still awake so he learns to fall asleep on his own.  That's going to be a tough one.  He usually falls asleep while I rock him to sleep while feeding him, and then I put him in his crib.

We also talked about starting Park on solid foods.  She wants us to feed him rice or oatmeal cereal and at least 5 different veggies before we start fruits...so no more peaches for awhile.  So far we've had green beans and carrots.  Park LOVES them.  Yay!  Baby Park has eaten more veggies in these last few days than Daddy Park has in his whole life!

I love this cutie more than anything.  He makes me soooo happy!  I'm so glad he is ours.
