2 Month Check-Up

This morning Daddy Park and I took Baby Park to his two month check-up.  Baby Park is "growing beautifully," according to his pediatrician.  He weighed in at a whopping 11 lbs 11 oz, which puts him in the 45th percentile for weight, and measured 24 1/2 inches, putting him in the 94th percentile for height.  Baby Park is one tall boy!

Baby Park also had to get three shots.  It was SO sad.  He didn't even know what hit him.  I hate seeing my sweet boy in any pain, so it was painful for me, too.

Also, Baby Park has had some yellow drainage coming from his right ear for the last couple of days.  He's also not been a very good sleeper, and his ear is sensitive to the touch.  His pediatrician took a look...he has an ear infection, and because there was so much fluid built up, his eardrum ruptured.  So now he's on antibiotics and ear drops for his ear infection.  When I was a baby, I had ear infections so often that I had to get tubes.  I'm crossing my fingers that this won't be the case for Baby Park.

Other than this ear infection, I'm so grateful for a healthy baby boy!
