Baby Park was so good on the air plane ride to St. Louis. He slept almost the whole way. On the way back it was just me...no Madilynn to help...so things were a little more stressful. Luckily there were enough helpful, friendly, and understanding strangers to help me out when I looked like I needed it the most.
While we were in Missouri I was able to spend a lot of time with both my Nelson family and my Nothum family. Saturday night I stopped by my dad's house for a family get together. It was fun to spend time with my cousins and their new baby's, aunt Casey and uncle Tim, and my Grampy Nothum.
After I left my dad's, I headed out to my Great Grandma Mary D's house where some of my Nelson family are staying for the week for a mini "Cousins Reunion."
Sunday we went to church at the Washington Ward where it was fun to see old familiar faces and catch up. That afternoon I got together with my cousins Andrew and Katie, Spencer and Brittany, and Aubry to do a photo shoot with our babies.
Monday and Tuesday I hung out with family at Mary D's during the day and went to my dad's in the evening to spend time with him and his fiance, CJ.
It was a quick trip, but much needed. I had a blast with all of my family, laughing, telling stories, and laughing some more, and I loved spending so much uninterrupted time with my sweet Baby Park. I was happy to get home to see Daddy Park, but now it's back to reality and back to work.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from my trip home:
