Park and I were called to be team teachers in the Primary. We will be teaching the CTR B class - 5 year-olds turning 6. We have seven kids in our class. Sunday was our first day teaching, and they are quite the handful. Words like "poop" and "wrestling" were used frequently...and the lesson was on being accountable. Wish us luck.
We also had to speak in sacrament meeting on Sunday. Park, my mom, and I all spoke on the 11th Article of Faith...it's about religious freedom...so a perfect topic since Sunday was Pioneer Day. I hope we don't have to move again anytime soon. Speaking in sacrament meeting is one of my least favorite things to do. Thank goodness it's over.
Park got an internship at a commercial real estate firm in Salt Lake. It is part time, but is paid, and could hopefully turn into a full time position. He is excited to start tomorrow, and I am so proud of him! Meanwhile, we are waiting to hear back from another commercial real estate firm that he interviewed with to see if he gets a second interview. Please send employment vibes our way...and a few prayers wouldn't hurt, either.
T minus 14 weeks and counting until the Sorenson Family Disney Cruise sets sail. So that means T minus 14 weeks and counting until this body of mine needs to be toned and tan for a week of nothing but fun in the sun...in a swim suite.
Baby Park is still the cutest, smartest, strongest, most amazing baby in the whole wide world.
