Disney On Ice

Now that Cathy is home with hospice care, she has a social worker that is assigned to her.  He met with her earlier in the week, and happened to ask her if she "had a wish."  She, of course, wished that we could all be on the Disney Cruise.  As the social worker was leaving her house, he told Jay that he may be able to surprise Cathy with some Disney On Ice tickets.

Quick side note...the most tickets he thought he would be able to get was four.  Well, that wasn't going to cut it because there are 20 of us.  Luckily, one of the Sorenson's family friends, Patti, works for Energy Solutions Arena, and came across Cathy's profile and her wish for Disney On Ice tickets.  She was able to get enough tickets for us all to go.

The tickets came yesterday, and we surprised Cathy with them while in Park City.

We had shirts made for our cruise that said, "Sorenson Family Cruise 2011," so we all wore them to Disney On Ice tonight.  The show was so fun!  The kids, and us adults, all had a great time!
