Blue or Pink?

Today was our 20 week ultrasound to look at the anatomy of Baby and find out its sex if we wanted to...and of course we wanted to!  It feels like forever that I've been waiting for this appointment!  I hardly slept last night, I was so excited!

Since the beginning of my pregnancy I've felt really strongly that this little one growing inside of me is a girl.  I call Baby "She" or "Her" all the time.  Park has even said to me on a few occasions to not get my hopes up, and says that I am going to hurt Baby's feelings if I keep calling it a girl and it turns out to be a boy.

Park invited my mom to be there with us at the ultrasound today.  She couldn't have been more excited to be included.

So...we all piled into the ultrasound room with the tech, Kristen.  She put the gel on my belly, then put the wand on my belly, and within a second of seeing the first image on the screen, Park yelled out, "It's a boy.  I see his wiener!"  "Yep," she said.  "It is a boy.  There is his penis."  AHHHHH!  I could hardly contain myself, I was so excited and surprised!  Park should have gone to school to become an ultrasound tech!

Everything about baby boy looks good so far.  It was so crazy to see him moving around on a screen, knowing he's inside of me doing the exact same thing.  Amazing.  I am so incredibly over the moon right now.  Only 20 weeks and 1 day and I'll get to hold this sweet baby boy in my arms for the first time.  I can hardly wait!

Here are a couple of pictures the tech printed out for us:

Profile shot...looks like he may be lucky enough to have his daddy's nose?

BOY!  Look at that cute penis!
