Her oncologist, Dr. Litton, gave her some GREAT news today. HER TUMORS HAVE SHRUNK! She had to go to radiology today to her her bile tube replaced and they could see that all of her tumors have gotten smaller. Also, all of her blood work is NORMAL! How amazing! She said that this was the best Christmas present she could have gotten.
Even though her cancer is still there, this is a huge miracle. We want as much time with Cathy as possible...and her tumors shrinking have given us all more time.
The plan now is for her to get three more rounds of chemo (or three more months) and then they will do a CT scan and more blood work see how everything is going.
I know that our prayers are being heard and answered...and I know that miracles happen.
