Goodbye 2010...Hello 2011!

Wow.  Another year has come and gone.  Can you believe it?

2010 was an interesting year for us...lots of change.  We got Tuggy boy, Park went back to school full time and quit working, we are poor as dirt, my mom moved to Utah and we moved in with her, we got pregnant, Park's mom was diagnosed with cancer, Park had two knee surgeries...wow.

But great things are going to happen in 2011, not that there won't be a lot of tough times along the way.  Park and I will celebrate 3 years of marriage, our first child will be born, Park will graduate from college...and hopefully score an awesome job asap so I can quit working and stay home with Baby Boy, and we get to go on a vacation in the summer with Park's family.

Last night before bed I asked Park if he had any new year's resolutions.  He said no, of course, and then said, "yeah...I want to finish school."  I can't think of any greater goal to have for the new year than that.  Park's been such a hard worker this year.  It hasn't been easy without him working, but he is getting through school at lightning speed so he can better provide for me and our growing family.  I love him and am so proud of him.

My new year's resolutions?  Well...there are so many things I want to be better at...eating healthier, exercising more, worry less, love deeper, forgive and forget, be more patient, pray more, have more faith, get this baby weight off asap after Baby Boy comes, be an amazing mother...you get the idea.  So, I think my resolution is just to be a better me.

Our new year's celebration was pretty low key...just as it has been for the last several years.  We went to Park's parent's house to eat dinner and then we all watched Toy Story 3.  It was a really cute movie.  Then, we lied to the kids pretended that it was midnight and had the kids bang their pots and pans...at 9:30 pm.

Park and I then headed to my uncle Wayne's and played a game of Ticket to Ride with him, Ryan, and Olivia.  We were home by 11:15 pm, and surprisingly were both awake when the clock struck midnight.

Happy New Year!
