A Visit From Daddy-O

My dad came for a quick visit this weekend.  It was nice to do a little catching up and spend time with my sisters, their boyfriends, and my dad.  We ate out, played a little volleyball, went to the movies, played games, and best of all, we laughed together. 

I knew that my dad was coming into town for a few weeks, so I decided to hold off telling him that I was pregnant until I could do it face to face.  I found a very, very sweet book about grandpa's, I Already Know I Love You, written by Billy Crystal, and wrote the same message in his book as I did in my mom's.

 
There was no way for me and Park to get my dad alone, so he opened the book in front of my sisters and their boyfriends. It took everyone a little bit of time to figure out what was going on, but when it was finally clear to them that I was pregnant, they were thrilled!  They couldn't believe that I had kept the secret for so long (I'm only 8 weeks pregnant).  I'm pretty sure that my dad was in shock.  He didn't really say anything for a couple of hours...maybe he thinks he's still too young to be a Grandpa?
