Mini Catch-Up

Sunday we celebrated another birthday in the Sorenson family...yes...those Sorenson's LOVE to celebrate the births of the people they love the most.  Misa's birthday was October 11th, but we celebrated a week late.  (Better late than never!)  Misa is an amazing woman, daughter, wife, mother, and sister-in-law.  I hope to become 1/2 the woman she is when I grow up.  She can cook, craft, be in primary and young women at the same time without breaking a sweat, and has enough energy to keep up with her two active boys...and did I mention that she is having ANOTHER boy?  Well, she is.  She is due February 24th.

The happy birthday girl

Before we celebrated, all the men in the Sorenson family stood in the circle while Jay gave Cathy a priesthood blessing.  It was an amazing experience...all of those worthy men blessing Cathy with strength to get through this difficult time.  I am so so so grateful that Park is worthy to hold the priesthood.  He has given me more blessings that I can count on my two hands...and all I have to do is ask for them.

Cathy started chemotherapy this week.  She had her first infusion on Monday.   Because she is getting treated at the hospital that I work at, I was able to spend an hour with her and Jay while she was getting her chemo.  She was feeling great...in great spirits...and knows that it was because of the blessing she was given the night before.  Cathy has so much faith.  She is an inspiration.

Park was back to school Monday after a week off for Fall Break.  He is such a hard worker.  He is taking 20 credit hours and getting great grades.  He's working hard...and fast...so that he can provide for our growing family.  I am so proud of him.

I'm still cooking Baby...and still tired.  My first trimester is coming to a close and I'm hoping that the extreme fatigue fades in the upcoming weeks.

IF I'm feeling brave on Saturday morning (Saturday will be the start of my second trimester), I'll post a picture of my bump.  I really don't have one...yet...but I've got to start documenting my growing belly at some point.  My bum on the other hand...I'd say it's at least 4 months pregnant...
