This morning Park and I went to our first OB appointment. Our doctor is Dr. Thackeray, and I loved him! After discussing our health histories and any risk factors, we went into the ultrasound room where we were able to see Baby on an ultrasound. We saw Baby moving around and also saw the little heartbeat fluttering in its chest. Baby is 3 cm and exactly 9 weeks and 6 days old today. It was amazing. Today made this all official for me. There really is a baby growing inside of me. I don't have the words to describe all of the emotions I am feeling, but I know how blessed I am to be given this gift.
We do have pictures of our little chicken nugget (I called Baby "our bean" but Park said that 3 cm is more the size of a chicken nugget) but Park took them home with him. It really isn't much to look at, but to me it's heaven. I will scan the pictures and post them as soon as I get home from work.

Big Daddy Park hit a home run. You will be an awesome father. I am excited for you and Anna. I am so glad that Mary D. gave you some pointers on how to get the job done. Her legacy lives on. Ed
