I Can Breathe Again

This past week was a busy one.  I had something going on every night after work (visiting teaching, concert, vet appointment, etc.).  Then on Saturday I had to be at a local church building, for what seemed like an eternity, keeping score for our young women regional volleyball tournament.  (I am the assistant stake sports director)  A special thanks to Sarah and Jason for saving me and reffing 4 games.  I know it was painful but it meant a lot that you came up to help.  And then Sunday.  Park and I spoke in sacrament meeting.  Our topic was Gratitude...perfect since Thanksgiving is on Thursday.  If you know me at all, you know that public speaking scares me to death.  I spent two weeks worrying, one week writing, and 15 minutes talking...which, if you are a nervous wreck like me, is the equivalent of running a marathon.  But it's over now, and I got so many compliments on my talk...so I guess that means it went well.  After dinner last night at Park's parent's house, I came home and cleaned the house.  I don't know about you, but I can't relax until all of my work is done.  And now it's all done.  So now I can breathe again.  Only two days of work this week and then it's off to St. Louis for some fun Thanksgiving family time.  I can hardly wait.  This is what I look forward to all year.  I'm sure there will be lots and lots to blog about when I get back...and lots and lots of pictures to post, too.
