Christmas Eve

We were back down in Salt Lake this weekend to spend the Christmas weekend with our families.  Christmas Eve we spend with the Nothum/Nelson's, and Christmas Day we spend with the Sorenson's.

Saturday (Christmas Eve) we went over to my mom's to open gifts and then have dinner.  My mom made a fabulous meal...Honeybaked Ham, homemade macaroni and cheese, cheesy potatoes, squash, asparagus, homemade chocolate pudding, rolls, and Gary made pumpkin pies...and the Hamp's came over to eat with us.

Happy boy ready for his first Christmas

Baby Park was more excited about the wrapping paper than the gifts

We were happy to have Ramsey celebrating Christmas with us again this year

Park and I got this print of the SLC Temple for my mom and Gary for Christmas...Park made the frame

Our first Christmas with Baby Park...best Christmas yet!

Mary and Ramsey's friend, Nate, also came to spend Christmas Eve with us

Mamie gave Baby Park a Christmas Eve bath

Park hanging frames we got for my mom for a Family Photo Wall

We then headed over to the Nelson's to reenact the Nativity.

Two of my favorite Ryan's

Although our Nativity Reenactment was quite irreverent, this year I have a deeper love and admiration for Mary.  Being a mother is the most amazing gift a woman can be given.  How special Mary must have been to the Lord for Him to choose her to bring His son, our Savior, into this world.
