Every year at Christmas time, they turn the Heber Creeper into the North Pole Express. We rode the train about a half hour in one direction to pick up Santa Claus, and then we rode back to the station while the kids got to talk with Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. We also ate cookies and drank hot chocolate, listened to Christmas stories, and sang Christmas songs. We all had a fun time, and were so happy that Grandma Cathy was feeling well enough to come with us. We can't wait to do it again next year!
