Welcome To Burley

Friday morning we finished loading a few more things into the 26' U-Haul we rented, stopped by Jay and Cathy's to say goodbye, and then were on the road headed to Burley.  We had lots of help packing, loading, driving, unloading, and unpacking...thank you Maren, Austin, Samson, Isaac, Matthew, mom, Gary, Elna, Dennis, and our new ward's Elders Quorum.

The house we are renting here in Burley is a farm house.  We are 7 miles outside of town.  We have one neighbor...they are the one's renting out the home, and they own a dairy farm...so...we have close to 400 cows outside our back door.  The actual house isn't too bad.  It's old...but it's the biggest house we could for the best price.  We are pretty much unpacked, but are still decorating.  As soon as we are done, I will take pictures and post them.

Park is really loving his job, and really enjoys everyone that he works with.  This is a HUGE blessing.  Can you imagine how horrible it would have been for us to move all the way up here and Park hated his job?!?  We also really like our ward.  Everyone is very welcoming and happy to have a new young family in the ward.

Here are a few pictures I took last week when Baby Park and I went on a walk out on the farm...

My little cutie all bundled up in his too big snow suite

Cows, cows, and more cows

The front of our house...she's a looker, ain't she?

Looking to the west...

Looking to the north...

So as you can see...there isn't a whole lot around us.  Welcome to Burley!
